Pow Wow Point Lodge has an activity for everyone. For the adventurous waterskiing, and tubing to our extensive water park with waterslides, trampolines or tackling our newest addition “the iceberg” that will challenge even the most daring member of the family. For a more relaxed day on Beautiful Peninsula Lake, Pow Wow has canoes, kayaks and paddleboats for our guests to use throughout the day.
Everyday at Pow Wow Point Lodge is different. Our recreation team will keep you and our family as busy as you would like. We will even entertain your children in the Kids Club which runs Sunday through Friday between 9:30-12noon and 2:30 -4:00.

Waterfront: Canoes, Kayaks, Paddleboats are available for your use. Each person in the watercraft MUST have a lifejacket in the vessel and the vessel must have an emergency kit onboard. Peninsula Lake is highly patrolled by the O.P.P Marine unit
Water Park: Have fun and challenge yourself on our many inflatable “islands”, “blobs”, “slides, “trampolines” and new “iceberg”. We strongly recommend the use of lifejackets on and in the water park.
Water Skiing and Tubing: Please check our weekly recreation schedule for days and times.
Waterfront Equipment can be used ½ hour after sunrise and ½ hr before sunset.
Mountain Bikes and Helmets: We have a select number of bikes for our guest to enjoy on the Pow Wow property.
Hiking: Pow Wow Point Lodge is very proud of the 5.7 km Interpretive Hiking Trail, featuring a typical Muskoka “transition” forest. The trail winds its way through uplands and lowland forest on a loop from the main Lodge.
Tennis: Enjoy one of the few red Clay Tennis Courts left in Ontario. (Racquets are available on request, but for your game we suggest bringing your own.
Shuffleboard / Horseshoes: Challenge a friend or family member to a Muskoka Lodge classic.
Inclement Weather Activities: just because Mother Nature did not shine on your vacation does not mean the fun will stop. Our recreation team will change activities to suit the weather conditions. (July and August only)
Indoor pool/whirlpool/sauna: Open throughout the week, please check with operating hours.
Indoor Recreation Room/Lounge: Ping Pong, Board Games, Puzzles and Books
INTERPRETIVE TRAIL:
We have an interpretive walking trail approximately 5.7 kms
featuring a pleasant walk through a typical Muskoka Transition
forest. You will find samples of seasonal flora and fauna
coupled with a beautiful view of Peninsula Lake. There is
a map and guide available at the front desk for your use.
SITES AND ATTRACTIONS
If you wish to enjoy one of the many attractions in Muskoka,
packed lunches can be arranged with staff the evening before.
DAY TRIPS
LESLIE M. FROST NATURAL RESOURCES CENTER: The Visitor Center
has exhibits and displays of fish and wildlife, forestry,
rocks and minerals. There are over 27 kms of trails to explore.
The Center is located on Hwy. 35, south of Dorset.
ALGONQUIN PARK: Located on Hwy. #60 - 20 miles from the
Lodge to the West Gates. The Visitors Center & Museum
is a " MUST SEE". Passes are availabe at the front
desk.
ARROWHEAD PROVINCIAL PARK: The Park offers over ten miles
of marked hiking trails, as well as interpretive films and
talks in the natural amphitheater.
SANTA'S VILLAGE: Located at Bracebridge; always provides
a "happy day" for younger children.

PRECAMBRIAN ROCK CUT: With glacier fold south of Birkendale
Resort.
DORSET FIRE TOWER AND LOOKOUT PARK: On a 500 ft. peak overlooking
Dorset and Trading Bay. A 100 ft. steel tower gives a wonderful
panoramic view for camera fans.
ROBINSON'S GENERAL STORE: Located in Dorset. A real old-time
Canadian General Store.
THE BAYSVILLE DAM: Located on Hwy. 117 at Baysville.
MUSKOKA MUSEUM AND PIONEER VILLAGE: At Huntsville Memorial
Park - A collection of reconstructed pioneer log buildings,
depicting the lifestyles of a crossroads settlement in the
day between 1860 and 1910. Summer Hours 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. Admission:
$6.00/adult, $4.00/Child (6-12) + tax. Children under 5 are
free.
DYER'S MEMORIAL: One mans monument to his wife. This
beautiful monument is surrounded by a 10 acre botanical garden.
Main Street Huntsville and Hwy #60. Cross Hwy #60-follow road
3 km to Williamsport Road turn right. Follow for 5 km turn
left (at green mail lock box). For about 2 km follow the road,
crossing a bridge and turn right just past the old stone school
house. Rough road - single lane for approx. 1.5 km.
OXTONGUE RAPIDS PARK: Three miles east of Dwight. A series
of beautiful rapids on the Oxtongue River.
INDIAN TRADING POST: One store at Dwight.
RAGGED FALLS: Two miles east of Oxtongue Lake. A 400 foot
cascade over falls and rapids. Traces of early logging history
can be found here.

SEGWUN STEAMSHIP: Restored steamship offering a 2 hour cruise
- Docked at Gravenhurst, reservations are required.
LADY MUSKOKA: Docked at Riverside Inn, Bracebridge.
